Focus
The DTIM research group in Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) conducts research in many fields of data and information management,with emphasis on the complete data/information lifecycle within data-intensive systems. DTIM is a research subgroup of the Integrated Software Services, Information and Data Engineering group (inSSIDE) research group and its members mainly belong to the ESSI department at UPC.
Objectives
The objectives of the DTIM group are to conduct cutting-edge research and develop novel solutions, tools, and frameworks to ensure effective and scalable data management across varied domains. We aim to bridge academic research with real-world applications to contribute to global progress and development by (1) leading and contributing to local and international research and innovation projects, (2) disseminating scientific and technological knowledge, and (3) building intersectoral partnerships.
